Sport Teams

Our faculty is also represented in sports activities. The President of the Sports Board is Dr. Derya Ahmet Kocabaş, and we participate in the Rectorate Cups and tournaments organized in the categories of women / men, student / staff.

Participation in these tournaments are observed the most in  Traditional Commemoration of Atatürk Marathon, Football Matches between Staff and Student, Indoor Football and Volleyball Matches with Women and Men, Men Only Basketball Matches. Many rewards such as the first place, second place, third place, top scorer, most sportsmanship have been won by our participants.

Additionally, sportspeople who have graduated from our faculty support the tournaments where ITU Alumni Association is represented. In 2019, more than 30 Electrical and Electronics Faculty graduates took part in the football, basketball, volleyball, running, swimming, tennis and table tennis teams that collected 11 cups at the Mastergames Tournament.
